When Ayden began her wedding planning journey, one of the most special moments was hearing the unique vows and ceremonies from each couple. In 2024, she became a licensed officiant in the state of Maine, so she can be a part of these unforgettable moments firsthand.

There to make your love official, and to bring a touch of fun, creativity, and personality to your ceremony. Whether you’re envisioning something quirky, traditional, out-of-the-box, or short & sweet, we can laugh, cry, and share moments of pure joy together.

Your Officiant - Ayden Prak

The Process

  • Consultation meeting by phone or video.

  • Together we will build your ceremony script whether you need a little help or a lot!

  • Assistance with obtaining your marriage license. Ayden will complete the license on the wedding day with signatures from yours (or our) witnesses. Per Maine state law, Ayden then submits your license.

  • An in-person meeting prior to the ceremony (can be virtual upon request).

  • A 1-hour rehearsal to run through the ceremony and timing if needed.

  • If you need timeline development, vendor coordination/communication, or day of coordination, we offer these services at an additional rate.

  • It is recommended that you have a coordinator at the least. Ayden will work with them and any other vendors to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

  • Ayden will arrive an hour prior to the ceremony start time to check-in with your vendors, do a mic check, and anything else that is needed!

  • After the ceremony, Ayden is typically there for an hour so that you can sign the marriage license.

  • You will receive a copy of the ceremony script and a keepsake marriage certificate that is signed. (not a legal document).

We will work together to create a wedding ceremony that truly reflects you! We can construct the ceremony script from scratch, choose from a selection, or simply have a few readings. We understand everyone's story is unique and want to make this a fun experience in your wedding planning journey.

A little more short and sweet is our elopement package. We love elopements and private vows. We will create a ceremony script together in the same manner a larger wedding is conducted. The elopement package is for 12 or less guests and don't forget your witnesses!

Elopement Ceremonies:

A wedding ceremony on a pebbled beach with a woman in a white dress, a woman in blue, and a man in a white shirt and dark vest. The officiant is holding a device, possibly reading vows or conducting the ceremony, while the bride looks on with a smile.

  • If you don't have two witnesses, let us know as we offer this as an add-on to your package.

  • If you are looking for an officiant to solemnize a marriage but aren't having a wedding or elopement, we can certainly fill out the paperwork with you and two witnesses at a less expensive cost.

  • If you don't fit into either package or have a fun new idea, reach out as we would love to chat and are always down for an adventure!
